So although the popular Yelp has reported this restaurant to not be accessible, I surprisingly will disagree. Funny because most of the time it is the other way around.

The main door does not have an automatic button; doors are 30 inches wide. Be aware of the 2 inch lip. Inside, the restaurant is very spacious with many tables for different seating options. All tables are 29 inches from the floor.

An accessible washroom does exist, however too small to provide someone with a scooter or powerchair entry.  There are no grab bars or space under the sink. It is located in the basement of the apartment building and is accessed by an elevator just past the bar. A little strange because you need to leave the restaurant to get to the elevator- you may want to ask your server for directions! The space is not ideal, but I commend this restaurant for trying.

Parking for Earth is behind the building and it is free! There is also a ramp that leads into the building from the parking lot but the buzzer code to enter eludes me. It seems that you need to be a resident of the attached apartment building to enter, however I am sure that by calling beforehand the friendly staff would be able to open the door.

Overall, it is very difficult to find great Indian food in an accessible space in Toronto. And for those of us that do not live in the downtown core, Earth Indian gives us a little bit of Gerrard St. steps from home.
