Cosmic Treats

Newly opened in Kensington Market, Cosmic Treats offers both sweet and savoury vegan treats. I visited on a cold and rainy afternoon and was instantly cheered up by the bright decorations and friendly staff. I tried the vegan cinnamon bun, and was also told I had to check out their cashew-based ice cream. Both were delicious!

The entrance to Cosmic Treats offers a 36" wide door which is level with the outer sidewalk. Inside, the floor is smooth hardwood and there are multiple standard height tables with removable chairs. There is a large amount of turning space within the dining area.

The washroom is a single accessible stall. The current doorway does have a 3/4" lip at the threshold, however the owner informed me that this will soon be leveled out. The doorway itself is 35" wide and flooring is smooth tile. Two grab bars are located near the toilet and the sink is 31" from the ground.

Although our patio days are numbered for this year, there is a large accessible patio out front with a 40" wide entrance. Tables on the patio are standard height and chairs are removable.

There is a large amount of street parking in the Kensington Market area, although depending on the time of day it can be fairly busy. A Green P lot is just a block away at 35 Bellevue Ave.
