The Park Hyatt Hotel is on the north-west corner of Avenue Road and Bloor Street West. A classic, landmark hotel, formerly known as The Park Plaza, it has attracted students, artists and cultural tourists for many generations. Annona Restaurant, is located inside a beautiful space within the Park Hyatt, and is aptly named for the Roman goddess of the harvest.

Annona is located on the main floor of the Park Hyatt’s north end. In order to get to restaurant you’ll need to first enter the Park Hyatt itself through either the Avenue Road or Bloor Street entrances, both of which feature automatic doors. The Avenue Road entrance also provides valet parking service for those interested. To enter Annona itself, there is a large set of double doors measuring over 70 inches that are kept open during service hours.

Inside is spacious yet intimate with floor to ceiling windows providing an abundance of natural lighting. Tables are standard height (29 inches) and have removable chairs with arm rests. Certain tables also have banquette seating on one side. As for the food, the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner reflect an international gourmet cuisine which ls priced accordingly. The staff, many of whom have a long history with Annona, are without exception, courteous, knowledgeable, and very willing to accommodate individual needs or requests.

Annona also takes part in WINTERLICIOUS and SUMMERLICIOUS. On these occasions, guests can dine on a three course gourmet meal at a greatly reduced price while still having an opportunity to enjoy all the amenities of the space.

There are accessible men’s and women’s washrooms located just down the hall for Annona. Sinks measure 33 inches above the finished floor with lever style fixtures. The toilet has two grab bars, a horizontal one positioned behind and an L-shaped one of the side wall.

As mentioned before, the Park Hyatt offers valet parking for those interested. However, there is also a Green P lot located at 9 Bedford Avenue with both indoor and outdoor spaces. For those preferring to take transit, the accessible Bedford entrance/exit at St. George is only a short distance away.

Aside from Annona, the Park Hyatt has offerings for all tastes. Its Roof Lounge remains a favourite gathering place for writers, authors and other literati, while it’s Stillwater Spa caters to those looking to relax and be pampered.
