After a month of daily coffee runs, I finally remembered to bring a tape measure to review Neo Coffee Bar. Neo Coffee Bar opened in August of 2015 in the St. Lawrence Market neighborhood. They serve espressos and single origin coffees as well as fresh pastries made in-house.

The entrance has no steps and is accessed through a 35 inch wide door with a 1/2-inch threshold. The restaurant seating options include 29 inch tall tables with movable stools, higher 36 inch tall tables with movable stools, and booth-style seating.

The coffee shop is all on one level with concrete flooring. At first glance, you might miss the washrooms altogether but they are located behind the paneled wall (there is a hand pointing down above the door). Behind the door is a second 35 inch wide door that swings inwards leading to a private, accessible washroom. The washroom is 91 x 79-inches. A horizontal grab bar is located behind the toilet, and an ‘L’ shaped grab bar is situated beside it. The sink is 29-inches high with clearance space underneath and an angled mirror. Soap and paper dispensers can be reached on either side of the sink. There are no automatic features.

If driving, there is some street parking on Frederick street. Alternatively, if taking transit the closest accessible subway station is Queen St where then you can take the 501 or 504 streetcars.
