Love, love, love the design and feel of this Bloor West neighbourhood favourite. You walk in to the smell of great food, the sound of live music and realize once seated that the walls are covered with beautiful archive photos of the neighbourhood.

Leading up to the entrance of The Kennedy Public House is a small ramp. No automatic button and the door is 32 inches wide. Indoors this gastropub offers varied seating options that create depth to the space. The 9 tables along the right side would be the most accessible with a standard height of 28 inches. A clear pathway leads you to four washroom stalls, one of which is a large private family style room. The room has a 34 inch wide door with an appropriate handle on the outside and inside. Automatic dryer, 2 grab bars and 40x50 inch space in front of the toilet.

The restaurant is across the street from Runnymede subway station which is unfortunately not accessible leaving Jane St station your next best option. There are however several above ground Green Ps in the area including one across the street.

Accessible patio? Hard to say as it is on the sidewalk level, however a chain link forces everyone to access the space through the restaurant and there is a large step down. Perhaps OK for those with a stroller or walker, but a tad too inconvenient for anyone in a wheelchair.
