Aspetta’s patio is a great place to sip on sangria, soak up the sunshine, and listen to a live acoustic set. This Kensington Market café offers wi-fi, and it is a great place to people watch, especially if you can grab a spot on the patio on Pedestrian Sunday. Caffeinated beverage options include coffee and cappuccinos, and Aspetta also offers wine, sangria, and bottles and cans of beer and cider. There is live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night as well as an open mic night on Wednesdays.
In terms of accessibility, all tables inside and out are standard height with removable chairs. The entrance is 32”, and there are smooth wood floors throughout. Musicians play on a ground level area at the front of the building, and the garage-like door is open on warm days.
The accessible washroom is 90” x 65” and includes a 34” door, 31” high sink, two grab bars, and a 17.5” high toilet. The mirror and soap dispenser are high.
The nearest accessible subway stops are Spadina, Queen’s Park, and Dundas. There are several Green P lots in and around the neighbourhood, including one at 20 St. Andrew Street and one at 35 Bellevue Avenue.
