Today I visited the Foggy Dew Irish Alehouse and Pub on King West. I hope to return here soon to catch up with friends over a pint of Guinness. This place boasts a fantastic patio, daily specials, live music on Saturday nights, and the space can be booked for events. The front entrance is at street level with two wide double doors at the entrance. There is no automatic door opener.

The patio is one level and all the tables are standard height with removable chairs. On the inside the seating is mixed – some booths, some bar height tables, and some standard height tables with removable chairs. The space is quite large and could host small or large groups. There is one level change, but this other level only has two small tables. The flooring is hardwood throughout.

To access the washroom, you have to push through two 35 inch doors. There is a large handle on the other side of each door. There is no separate accessible washroom, but both the women’s and men’s washrooms have a 58 by 58 foot stall with a 32 inch doorway, two grab bars, and an accessible coat hook. There is a small change table in the women’s accessible stall. The sink is 32 inches high with space underneath. The taps are a little far back and may be difficult to reach. There is an accessible hand dryer.
