The two 35-inch doors are accessible, with a small sloped lip to traverse when you enter. If you sit down for a meal, the tables are 29.5-inches tall with the options of unmovable benches or moveable chairs with and without armrests. The hallways are generally 51-inches wide, with a few narrower spaces between tables measuring 39.5 inches wide. If ordering a drink at the bar it is 41-inches in height.

The majority of the restaurant and bar, including the accessible washroom, is on the first floor. There is a second floor that is only accessed by stairs. It is primarily used for private parties. The stairs have sturdy wooden handrails and are 48 and 41-inches wide. Unlike the rest of the restaurant, the stairs are carpeted. The emergency exits are clearly marked, and the path is clear.

The spacious accessible washroom is a great feature. It has a single, automatic, 35-inch door with a lever handle. The inside of the washroom is spacious, and there is plenty of room to turn around and close the door behind you. Other accessible washroom features include two grab bars with standard positioning around the toilet, 26.5-inches of clearance under the sink, and a change table for babies.

When we visited in the daytime the restaurant was moderately lit with low music playing in the background. It was a snowy afternoon with no signs of summer, but this pub offers a 160 seat patio space in the warmer months just outside their front doors on the sidewalk level!

If traveling via transit, you can use Union accessible subway station and head south on Lower Simcoe. There is no green P nearby but there is some nearby paid parking garages and street parking on Grand Trunk Crescent.
