The Thompson Diner attached to the Thompson Hotel is a good choice for all-day breakfast or late night eats in the King West neighbourhood. This accessible locale is open 24 hours a day and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also has a full-service bar.

There are several entrances to get into Thompson Diner. The main entrance is on King, and it has a 34” door without an automatic door opener. Alternatively, if you require an automatic opener you can enter through the hotel lobby on Wellington, which also has wide double doors.

Thompson Diner has tile floors throughout and standard height tables for two with removable chairs. It also has booths, and someone could easily sit at the end in a wheelchair, as there is 31” of space in between the booths and plenty of clearance underneath the booth tables.

There is a large 80’ by 75’ single stall accessible washroom with a 34” door—you just have to ask a staff member for the key. This washroom featured a 32” high sink with space underneath, two grab bars, a 19.5’ toilet and a small change table. The mirror is tilted, there is an accessible coat hook on the door, and soap and paper towels are within easy reach.
